Michito Kasagawa<\/strong>, Executive Director, President<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Born as the eldest son in a pastor\u2019s family, Michito received a calling to become a pastor at the age of 15. He majored in marketing in college and gained professional experience as a corporate salesperson at an IT company, in a strategic consulting firm, and as a partner sales and alliance manager at a cloud company. After ten years in the corporate world, he studied theology at Regent College in Vancouver, Canada. Upon returning to Japan in 2015, he served as a pastor at Ibaraki Bible Church in Osaka for seven years. He then served for four years as an Administrative Officer at the headquarters of the Japan Alliance Christ Church, and currently serves as the Senior Pastor of Ibaraki Bible Church. He holds a degree in Business Administration from Kobe University and has completed theological studies at Regent College (MDiv, ThM) and Fuller Theological Seminary (DMin).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Takashi Kurachi \u2013 <\/strong>Associate Director<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Born in Tachikawa, Tokyo in 1977. After graduating from university, he spent nearly 13 years as a business professional, gaining broad experience as a systems engineer, in human resources and recruitment training, e-commerce operations, and as a corporate trainer. In 2012, through a personal experience of answered prayer, he came to know God and became a Christian. Two years later, in 2014, he joined Grace City Church Tokyo as a staff member, engaging in urban mission under the vision of \u201cfilling the city with the gospel.\u201d While carrying this passion for urban ministry, he studied theology for five years at Seikei Theological Seminary beginning in 2017. From 2021, he served for three years with Tokyo Marunouchi Partnership, focusing on outreach to business professionals working in the heart of Tokyo. Drawing on both his business background and urban mission experience, he launched a church plant in Nakano, Tokyo in 2024 and is now leading the establishment of Faith Valley Church Tokyo<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ryoji Adachi \u2013 <\/strong>Associate Director<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2014, while studying abroad, he had the opportunity to study the Bible and became a Christian. The following year, he began his career as a management consultant, supporting a wide range of public- and private-sector clients on themes such as geopolitical risk, ESG, and mid- to long-term strategic risks.
As he walked his professional journey, he developed a strong desire to communicate the Bible and Christianity in a way that businesspeople and working professionals could easily understand. In 2023, he enrolled at Seikei Theological Seminary, beginning theological studies in parallel with his consulting career. In 2024, he left the consulting firm where he had been working and founded his own consulting office. Today, he serves as a portfolio worker, wearing three hats\u2014as a seminary student, ministry staff, and management consultant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Graduate of Rikkyo University (Faculty of Law). Completed MA in International Studies and Diplomacy at SOAS, University of London. Worked at PwC Consulting LLC and Deloitte Tohmatsu Risk Advisory LLC before founding Think Vision Consulting in 2024. Currently studying at Covenant Seminary(Tokyo).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tomoko Okada \u2013 <\/strong>Associate Coordinator
Born and raised in Tokyo. She attended church from early childhood and became a Christian in junior high school. She studied at local schools in New Jersey, USA, during her junior high and high school years, where she served in a Baptist church through flute worship ministry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After graduating, she was involved for three years in launching a church plant in Tokyo. Through her work, she received a calling to \u201cserve the world.\u201d She went on to support international students and professionals in study abroad, employment, and permanent residency at a U.S. government agency in Tokyo. She also worked in sales and global business at a Japanese private company.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the summer of 2018, she completed an intensive \u201cFaith and Work\u201d program at Redeemer Church in New York. There, she received a calling to serve business professionals working in urban contexts. She is currently a parallel worker, engaging in business strategy and career support. She also hosts Bible studies and testimony gatherings for business professionals. At Klesis, she supports the \u201cDiscovering Your Calling\u201d course.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
