Targeted Study Groups

■ Foundry Meetings (For professionals from their 1st to about their 5th year)

Objective: Career design, business skills, and establishing a biblical view of work

The term “foundry” refers to casting and forging, suggesting that the first to fifth years in the workforce are crucial times for shaping one’s career, as experiences during this period can significantly determine one’s future as a business professional. Alongside essential business skills expected of professionals, participants also explore biblical worldviews and anthropologies to discover their personal callings. Active business professionals and pastors with work experience lead the Foundry Meetings. They host monthly online sessions focused on specific themes, personal coaching, and onsite networking opportunities.

~Examples of learning content~

■ Entrepreneurs Meetings (For those aiming for entrepreneurship or management in companies)

Objective: Entrepreneurial/corporate mindset, critical skills, discovering a lifelong calling

Why start a business? What drives you to launch that particular venture? What are your reasons for aiming for management roles within a company? In a capitalist society, starting a new business and achieving success bring a sense of accomplishment, wealth, and fame. However, the fundamental question of “Why engage in business?” deeply ties to your personal life’s calling, bringing true joy, satisfaction, and fulfillment. The Entrepreneurs Meetings offer a platform for mid-career professionals who are either currently entrepreneurs or aspire to be, to explore their callings and practice business together. Valuable inputs from active Christian executives are provided, enriching current business ventures or future entrepreneurial efforts.
