History

Klesis began as a ministry targeted at business professionals and started its activities as a General Incorporated Association in March 2022.

March 2020

• Special missionary activities aimed at business professionals began at the Ibaraki Bible Church.

October 2020

• The Nakanoshima Bible Study Group “Learning to Speak About the Good News” (a total of 8 sessions) started.

January 2021

• The Business and Bible Meeting (a small group online learning meeting) began on a bi-weekly basis.

July 2021

• The Nakanoshima Bible Study Group “Learning to Speak About the Good News (2nd Course)” started.

October 2021

• A study group for young professionals called “The Foundry Meeting” began.

March 2022

• Due to the transfer of the current representative director (Michito Kasagawa) to the office secretary of the Japan Alliance Christ Church Corporation, the General Incorporated Association Klesis was established (corporate registration on March 18), continuing missionary activities for business professionals. The Business and Bible Meeting changed to a monthly (online) event.

December 2022

• Klesis established its mission statement and core values.

February 2023

• A study group for Christian entrepreneurs and businessmen, “The Entrepreneurs’ Meeting,” began.
• A study group targeted at executives and management, “The Management Meeting,” began.

March 2023

• The second term of Klesis as the General Incorporated Association began.
